Albright Art Gallery

Description:

A gift to the Buffalo Fine Arts Academy from John Joseph Albright was erected on land provided by the City of Buffalo and was dedicated on May 31, 1905. An addition, dedicated on January 19, 1962, was the gift of the Seymour H. Knox Foundation and other donors. In recognition of this gift, the board of directors renamed the gallery on August 7, 1961 Albright-Knox Art Gallery.
